Trying without directions how to figure out how it works, I started pushing buttons, and changed it from English to French. I need to know how to put it back to English. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Most electronic typewriters can only be used in one language.
Typically in Nth America you have the option of getting a machine in ENGLISH, FRENCH, or SPANISH. There is no "code" to switch the machine into one of the other languages... to change language the e-prom would have to be re-programmed on the Main Control pcb.
Thank you for the above information.
Please ask rlandriani to access the user parameters on the fax machine and turn the Quick Memory XMT to "Off" or "Invalid".
This should set the machine for direct manual sending without memory intervention.
Press the power button and hold it down until the display says "Select Language". When you see this, press the start/copy button and then press the up or down arrows to select the language...then press start/copy again to make it stick. For more details you can download the manual from this web page.
You can get the manual on the link below but I see no option for setting the language! However there is a reset command on page 75, perhaps that may help?
