Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
I can't download/play my audiobooks on my new MP3 player.
My audible manager does not recognize my player.
any ideas? is it just a problem of not being supported by audible/audiobooks?
It does not support Audible. I have funny insider information on this - Philips originally planned to make it Audible compatible, and even added an Audible folder. In the end, they didn't seal the deal and sent out players that were not compatible with audible, but have an Audible folder in them. LOL.
A workaround is to download audiobook files in mp3-only format. You won't be able to use them like an audiobook, but they will be available for lsiten.

Tips for a great answer:

Mar 07, 2011 | Philips Audio Players & Recorders
You can resume play after navigating away from audiobooks. Play resume function is provided in this model. However, if you are unable to use this feature, I'd suggest that you uninstall audible manager and then install again. If the problem persists you can contact Audible support or Philips support.
Hope this helps.
