Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
Hello, The DC Input hack for my Acer Aspire 5570Z is broken so the machine is totally useless. Could you advise which part I need to replace and where I could purchase it online?
I have had it in the repair shop for over 6 months now
You need to buy a new jack for replacement. then solder the broken one out of the mainboard and clean the place and solder the new one. or some acer have a separet jack then that one is easy only to change.

On most acer laptops, the dc input jack is soldered directly to the mainboard, if this is the case, you need a new mainboard ($$) Some of the acer laptops from this series have a separate circuit board with the dc jack and a couple of usb ports on it. Call acer tech support to see if your laptop has a "DC USB BOARD" part available for it. if so, order it as it will probably cost under $20
Hope this helps
