I just got a motorola w755 and the front screen only works for a little bit at a time. is there anything i can do to fix it?
Describe "a little bit at a time". do you mean for a few seconds, then goes black? Or do you mean for a fraction of a second?

My front screen stays lighted for a few seconds at most.
It acts like it's trying to save power by darkening the front screen, but instead it is just annoying because you can't read the time.
front screen wallpaper not working; funky lines or grids but no picture is visible. Looks like a chip died. Is this a fixable problem?
My W755 does the same thing- The front screen goes dark after only about 5 seconds even if I set the backlight to "always on". Weird thing is that if I set it to 30 seconds on the backlight timer, it will stay lit for 30 seconds.
