On the bottom of the router you should find a access code in the form of "http://***.***.***.***" where x are numbers, write that down along with the default username and password that should also be on the bottom of your router. Go to your computer and type the access code into an internet explorer. A login window should pop up, log in and then look for the security options. You should find an option to enable WAP security, once enabled and a password selected make sure to return to your computer and connect to the network using the new password or else it won't connect properly.
If you have power and you can connect via Ethernet cord no the router is ok. You will need to set the wireless settings correctly in the router setup page.

Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off) ( router status window) 3.Note router name you are connecting to. 4.. Check the laptop do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses. 5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address. This set up in the "security tab" in the router. using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to access through a browser. 6.Note router name you are connecting to. 7. Move the laptop about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet. This is for all routers to set up wirelessly. 8. check for firmware update at the manufacturers site for your model router

THen go to Wireless Security tab and reset the "WPA password"
1.) using the internet explorer (not AOl or MSN or..)but the internet explorer that your computer came with. 2.) enter "192.168.1.1" in the website address field. do NOT use www in front. 3.) this will bring you to a linksys website. 4.) click on wireless 5.) then wireless security 6.) then you will see the page with the wep key listed. 7.) use the first wep key listed
First of all you need to connect to your router using a LAN connection (wireless won't work as you might not be connected wirelessly due to the missing WEP key) and follow the steps below:
1.) using the internet explorer (not AOl or MSN or..)but the internet explorer that your computer came with. 2.) enter "192.168.1.1" in the website address field. do NOT use www in front. 3.) this will bring you to a linksys website. You might need to login (default username and password is admin) 4.) click on wireless 5.) then wireless security 6.) then you will see the page with the wep key listed. 7.) use the first wep key listed.
In case nothing helps, you will need to hard reset your router which would erase all the settings and configuration and bring the router back to factory settings. You may refer to the manual to perform the hard reset, in case you have lost the manual leave a comment and we shall provide you the next steps.

You need to setup cisco page, with your ISP. Your setup name and password must be same for all computers. All computers for this installation must connected by wire at the beginning. And make sure you enable the wireless options on Linksys page. READ HELP form Linksys main page.
