Hello Dieter. Unfortunately your complaint has been made to the wrong people. FixYa is a free online technical help facility and all answers are provided by unpaid volunteers.
FixYa will provide answers on SatNav matters but is not in any way connected with or representative of any manufacturers. It does not sell products nor does it ship them. Subscribers to the FixYa Premium service can have live chat with a volunteer who might get a small token payment from FixYa in return for a successfully resolved problem, but the live chat operator has nothing whatsoever to do with TomTom nor with the supply of that company's products and so nobody here could have offered any discounts on the supply of products. Any conversations which you have with a FixYa live chat operator are confidential between you, the operator and perhaps the few paid employees who run the FixYa website. Non premium fixes (like this reply) are an openly available public record; in neither case will TomTom be notified of the dialogue and in a like fashion nothing you've discussed with TomTom is available to anyone using this website.
I can only think that you've spoken to a number of folks, some from FixYa and some from TomTom and have got your wires crossed.
Good luck in resolving your problem with TomTom, but it's one of those problems that FixYa has no possible way of resolving for you.
