Question about Maytag MDG16PR Gas Commercial Dryer
Other day my basement was flooding. some of my dryer was under water. After that, the dryer can run normally. But it never heat my clothes.
You need to remove the front panel and check to see if the glow bar is lighting. If it is and you aren't getting any flame 1 of 2 things can be wrong the gas coils could be bad or the gas valve itself could be bad. the easiest way to check the gas coils is to take off the front panel (you will need either a philips head screw driver or a T20 security star bit) and loosen up the bracket that holds the gas coils down. Don't remove the screws completely. start the dryer and lift up the bracket. If it seems like the coils are pulling the bracket down then the coils are good and you will need to replace the gas valve
