I have burned DVD's before and had no problem. I also tried to burn DVD again thinking that something was wrong with the disc. No luck. Same error code. Tried burning new material and it works. What's wrong with my other material?
I have the same problem. Worked well for 4 or 5 times and then it went wrong. Still no solution found?

Re: Error Code: FF052102
This have happend to me before when I first realized that I was using a CD instead of a DVD then I did the DVD then it continued to happen so I tried one more time and used a whole new disc......so.. Change the disc and see if that helps. Make sure your using DVD-R, DVD-RW to burn you disc, Dual layer disc will not work.
Let me know if that helps..

I generally backup the video's i just took from the camcorder to the computer. Then I select ( checkmark ) the videos to be burned to disc. Never had a problem. This time I filtered the selections by date ( because I now have 400 on back up ). When I tried to select just the recent videos to burn to disk I kept getting the FF052102 error message ( annoying ) - I then went back and selected the files to burn with via the entire backup library and had no problem. Worth a shot.

The problem's not what they are saved as, it's your burning software needs to transcopr them into mpeg-2 format so that they burn properly. There are several dvd burning software programs out there...some very pricy and some are free. For pricy type I would go with nero 10 For free, I reccomend Free DVD Creater Whatever program you go with, it must be one that will change the format from whatever it is, to mpeg-2.
Not sure if this will help but make sure you do not have two dvd-authoring programs on your computer, this might be causing the error you are seeing. There could be an issue with the media you are burning to, sometimes you have to experiment and find discs that work well with your burner. Burn speed may also be an issue, some discs say that you can burn at 4x speed, when in fact that disc may only be able to accomodate 2x - so try reducing the authoring speed to half the maximum the disc says. I looked on the GoCyberlink website and was not able to see that error code listed in their support pages. Another possibility though not as likely, you could have a damaged operating system or there is a problem with your dvd burner. Wish I could help more.
pls try to make a copy of dvd on hard disk folder when in the end it asks where to put the dvd after processing dont put it directly on the dvd first process and put it on hard disk folder and then burn it using any free tools or like nero burning rom or any other dvd burning software it sometimes happen when u try to put the movie directly to dvd during processing avoid this
pls let me know if i can help u more , i will suggest DVD movie Factory for video editing and dvd making it is paid service but it is easy and worth it
Usually if it's a formating issue is because it is a wrong disc. Make sure what format the burner can use meaning if it's a - or +. Also, the sony brand disc don't work with anything but sony stuff so make sure it's not a sony disc.
I too had the same problem. I fixed it by changing the DVD type I was using. I find it has less problems usung -RDVD and RWDVD I couldnt burn at all with Memorex +RDVD but had some luck with +RDVD in other brands
