Re: Color Gone

Check and see if your dvd player is not on pal if it is then you switch to ntsc.if it is not on pal then check all your connections if every thing is okay its time to call in the tech the dvd is having a problem in the video circuit.good luck.

Why wont play color

TH-M505 can display in black in white if connected iimproperly using COMPONENT connections or if cables have gone bad. Try replacing component or changing connection to COMPOSITE. Does it play in black in white using COMPOSITE?

My disks won't play in color just black and white what's wrong, this works with all color DVD's

If you're using component video cables check them all for good connection.

Listen to DTV DVR output on TH-C3

im not familiar with this model. can i assume it is a small home theatre system with limited inputs?
in that case, the best thing to do is to feed all your devices...cable, dvr, dvd, etc....into the tv.(audio and video). then use the audio output of the tv to the input on the receiver. you may have to go into the tv menu and set the audio output to the speakers in the tv to fixed mode for a constant level out to the receiver.
good luck

Panaonic Home Theatre DVD system only plays movies inblack white

Check the region and picture settings on the home theatre's dvd player, it could be set to put out a component signal, or it could be set to a PAL region rather than NTSC

Black and white picture on the JVC TH-505

If you hold the VFP button while a movie is on, you will get a small box on the corner that shows your color. My default color also turned black and white. I just moved over to a user1 color setting (push the right arrow on your remote), and it allows to the change the colors. You might be able to put the colors to come out through here. Hope this helps.
