I've just bought a new pc (Intel Core2 Quad) and the operating system is Microsoft windows XP professional version 2002,SP2. My problem is that although my Officejet t65 all-in-one was working fine with my previous pc (Intel dual Core,windows xp)now,it can't communicate with the new pc..I've already entered SETUP, located the configuration section for the PARALLEL PORT and modified it to read ECP,but problem insists,I keep getting the message "a communication error has been detected with your HP", and it seems disconnected!Does any of you have any idea what I should do here?? Make sure to choose your operating system i.e. windows 7 before downloading, Copy the link above into your browser's address field and press enter key.
Is this printer new? If so make sure the little plastic tabs are pulled off of the ink cartridges Located at the bottom covering the jets. This will stop the printing. Hope this helps Merry Christmas and happy new year.
my hp office jet pro l7500 indicates the ink has expired in all cartages but the cartgages are new because they were just put in . Before the same error code came up and so bought new cartages. Also the door to the cartages will not stay closed without tape.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN I WAS AT THIS SINCE 12:00AM LAST NIGHT AND i FINALLY GOT MY T65 TO WORK ON VISTA................................................
Use the driver for K60xi in the vista driver database... install your printer manually and choose that driver...........
phew, i almost sold my printer today and said I would try it one more time.......
