Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Not charging/ nothing showing up on the screen

My dad got me the sansa clip mp3 player 2gb and i have charged it for 18 hours and all it does is the keys light up and then turn off what should i do?

Try rebooting, or restarting. Pressing down the reset button for a while, or the play/pause button.

My sansa 2gb mp3 player won't turn on. When I plug it into the computer it shows the charging screen and it is charging but as soon as i take it off it won't work. I have had it for...possibly a year or...


first try a software reset...press and hold the power button in on position for a minute or so then try powering up normally..if tht doesnt work,the battery wire may have snapped...you will need to open up the unit and re-solder the wire.

Sandisk 2GB Sansa clip will not charge with USB.


The problem maybe the usb cord or it maybe the hardrive in the monitor hooked up to the network drive. If this doesent help i will try to help as much as possible.

Cannot tell when sansa mp3 player is fully charged.


Make sure the hold switch is not engaged - it will interfere with the charging process. Here is a link to the full user's manual:

Charging my 2gb sansa clip


You can charge it by leaving it plugged into the computer for 3-4 hours (usually less).
