Question about Computers & Internet
The first time we set up the netbook amilo mini ui 3520, it started opperating in german. we need to change the system opperation to english..how do we do so?
Just scroll all the way down on the login page and click on where it says (myspace international) and click on EE.UU which means United States in spanish and there you go.
It could be that you don't have Language Extensions enabled and that you don't have the fonts for your language loaded by Windows.
Open Control Panel and select "Regional And Language Options." Click the 'Languages' tab and under 'Supplemental Language Support, check or uncheck the boxes that apply to you.
Click the 'Advanced' tab and select your non-English language. You can add additional conversion tables if you want. Click Apply and then go back the the 'Languages' tab. Click the 'Details' button. You can select the default input language there. Even if you select a non-English language as the default, all your English-only programs will still work in English. Click the Add button and add you language for inputting non-English text. Click the 'Advanced' tab and check or uncheck the check boxs that apply to you there.
If you run any programs which support your language, the symbols for your language will be used. Microsoft Windows programs such as Explorer, Notepad, and Wordpad will automatically support your language. Some word processors like Word Perfect and other programs may have to be configured for non-English language support. Sometimes, some web pages or programs will screw up and print garbage, so you'll have to switch back to English. (If you're using Yahoo!'s web site for reading and writing e-mail, then you should use Outlook Express instead because Yahoo!'s e-mail web page doesn't support non-English languages properly -you'll just get garbage.)
