You will need to remove both accounts and then re-establish your email account for e1. You can do this yourselft. First I assume that you use the same Internet Service Provider for both then the steps I am going to give you should yield the same information. First open e1 and click on Tools>Accounts. Once the Accounts are up, click on Properties, write down the all of the informaton in the General Tab, and the Servers tab paying close attention to name for the POP3 server and the SMTP server. Also, make sure you know your password. The Connection and Advanced tabs you don't need to worry about. Once you have all of the information written down then go into e1, click on Tools, Accounts and then click on the account you want to remove then click remove. Then do the same thing for e2. Finally go back into e1, Tools>Accounts>Add and follow the instructions inputting the data you copied down. This will remove e2 and put the email address you wanted in e1. Hope this helps.

In Outlook, you can use the Import and Export Wizard as the interface for Address Book conversion. To convert a WAB file, follow these steps: 1. Start Outlook if it is not currently running. 2. On the File menu, click Import and Export. 3. Select Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next. 4. Select Outlook Express 4.x, 5 from the list, and then click Next. 5. Select the product for which you wish to convert items from the list, and then click Next. 6. Select any combination of the Mail or Addresses from the items listed.

NOTE: With the exception of rules conversion from Outlook Express, the steps to convert addresses is the same. 7. Click Next. 8. Select a destination for the imported address data. The destination depends on the type of Outlook installation you selected initially. a. The Internet Mail Only installation of Outlook 98 allows only the Contacts folder as the destination. b. The Corporate or Workgroup option allows the options of Personal Address Book or Outlook Contacts. 9. Select the appropriate duplicate items option. Click Finish to complete the import.
Hope that helps..........

2. Right-click inside the Mail Backup folder window, and then click Paste.
Step 2: Export the Address Book to a .csv file
Important Make sure that you follow this step if you use multiple identities in Outlook Express.

Microsoft Outlook Express 5.x and Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 use a Windows Address Book (.wab) file to store Address Book data. The individual data for each identity is stored in a folder by user name within the .wab file that is used.

The only way to separate the Address Book data for different identities is to export the data to a .csv file while you are logged in as a specific identity. If the .wab file becomes dissociated from the user identities, the data can be exported only as one total. In this case, the data cannot be exported folder by folder.

There is another reason to export the .wab file to a .csv file. If the .wab file not exported to a .csv file, but the .wab file is shared with Microsoft Outlook, the addresses are stored in the personal folders (.pst) file in Outlook. When you export the file to a .csv file by using the File menu in Outlook Express, the correct contacts are exported. However, if the Address Book is shared with Outlook, you cannot use the File menu option to export from the Address Book. This option is unavailable.

To export the Address Book to a .csv file, follow these steps:
1. On the File menu, click Export, and then click Address Book.
2. Click Text File (Comma Separated Values), and then click Export.
3. Click Browse.
4. Select the Mail Backup folder that you created.
5. In the File Name box, type address book backup, and then click Save.
6. Click Next.
7. Click to select the check boxes for the fields that you want to export, and then click Finish.
8. Click OK, and then click Close.
Step 3: Export the mail account to a file
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. On the Mail tab, click the mail account that you want to export, and then click Export.
3. In the Save In box, select the Mail Backup folder, and then click Save.
4. Repeat these steps for each mail account that you want to export.
5. Click Close.
Step 4: Export the newsgroup account to a file
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. On the News tab, click the news account that you want to export, and then click Export.
3. In the Save In box, select the Mail Backup folder, and then click Save.
4. Repeat these steps for each news account that you want to export.
5. Click Close.

I accidentally permanently deleted my Outlook Express application, can it be restored? My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, 2009 version, Service Pack 1

Windows 7 does not support the use of Outlook Express - this was removed from Windows Vista and Windows 7 and replaced by Windows Mail (in Vista) and by Windows Live Mail (in 7).
If you have copies of the Outlook Express mail database files (inbox.dbx etc) you should be able to migrate these into Windows Live Mail using the Import Messages option in the File menu and selecting Microsoft Outlook Express 6 then browsing to the folder where your mail database files for Outlook Express are held.
If you have previously exported your Outlook Express account details (name.iaf) - you can import these into Windows Live Mail too through the Import option in the Accounts page.
Lastly, if you still have your Outlook Express Address book (name.wab) this can be imported in to your Windows Live Contacts by selecting File then Import Windows Address book (.wab).

Okay, you have to have the server information in order to set up your e-mail in Outlook Express (i.e. POP and SMTP server names like mail.optonline.net and so forth.) Just navigate over to the support page for your internet service or e-mail provider, and they should have the step-by-step instructions for you for Outlook Express including settings.

After you enter the information from the support page, the Outlook Express account wizard will give you the opportunity to send a test message. Send one, and it should work if you entered the settings properly.

Now, regarding address books, when you use Outlook Express, when you set up an e-mail account, it sets you up with a blank address book. You can then fill up contacts in it as you go along, just like a paper one. But, you don't even need to have a single address in that address book as long as you know the e-mail addresses you are sending to and can type them in properly (like fixya@fixya.com for example) in the "To:" field. So, don't sweat that too much. It's really just for convenience.

I hope this helps.
