start and 1-24 hr delay buttons don't work all other buttons work
exact same mode

Does anyone have detail instructions on how to remove and clean panel. it looks as if I have to rip it apart from the front

Keypad will only respond one mode. None off the others buttons work besides start/reset. Do I need to replace the Keypad or the control unit the keypad connects to? I have unplugged it for an hour to reset without result.

you probably need a new control panel. The panel isn't sealed to the face everywhere, and food or water runs down the internal cable.
my panel burnt up. replacing it fixed the problem.

I caulked it in with clear caulk to prevent a recurrence.

I had a repair guy come out for similar problem. Because food/water/spills can go inside dishwasher, it can short out. It may just need cleaning/drying out. The repairman opened the front and wiped where it looked like spill happened. He also unplugged the green plastic wire thing from black box in upper right corner and took alcohol and cleaned the computer like prongs of both the insert and where it inserts into. It worked. I have since repeated this step numerous times.
