Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Iv got a password for my laptop but iv just put my desk top on the hub and it's asking for a wep key
A WEP key is a Wireless Network security key that allows your devices to connect to the Wireless network. It is usually a 10 digit code (alpha numeric) that is set on your Network DSL router. If you turn your router upside down, you can find it printed with a barcode on a sticker attached to the router.
See if this works before we get to a more complicated answer

I would really love to help you BUT i need more info . Leme try assisting you somehow.
Dya have a computer directly connected to your Router ? You may want to access your router page and get your wireless info.
you must know your default gateway w/c is your routers address.
TO check def gateway go to run > cmd > ipconfig /all > then check your def gateway
If you have your def gateway > open your fav browser > type in the def gateway and youl have chance to view and edit your wireless settings.
leme know if this help

WEP consists of 10 number and letters and is usually under your Wi-Fi (wireless) router...enter that code into ur PSP and it will grant u access to the internet.
Or type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1(which ever your router has set to access it) into your web browser and your loginour password is usually admin and Password is usually blank (as in don't type anything in it) for your router will pop up from there you can find your wep key or you can turn the wep off so your psp will not need a wep key.
Please rate this solution.

If you are connecting through a standard ethernet cable you should not be getting this question. However, if you are trying to connect through wifi it is best to check your router/hub to make sure there is no preset factory wep or wpa key
