Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
Model is Whirlpool LER5634AWO
Remove the back and on the right side is the heater assembly. Attached to this assembly is a safety thermal fuse at the top and a heat limiter thermostat at the bottom. The fuse, thermostat or heater may have failed. The MOST common reason for any of these parts to fail is a clogged or restricted exhaust. Be sure to clean/inspect the exhaust system or the dryer will fail again.
