I want to change my hotmail email address. How do I do this?

you can set up a new email address anytime. you can't just delete an old one. if you don't use it for 90 days it will be cancelled automatically. you can also put an automated response in your old email so anyone trying to contact you will receive it.

Hello,my name Tairi Charlie Im having problem opening my email" -- because I forgot my identity answere

If you haven't logged into your Hotmail in some time and suspect you might be using the wrong password, click the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the Hotmail log-in page. On the next screen, follow the prompts to enter your email address and the given security verification code. Click "continue" and on the next screen, select the option that allows you to answer your pre-set security question. This is a question you supplied when you set up your Hotmail account. After correctly answering the question, you will be prompted to reset your password. Clear your browser history and temporary Internet folders if you are continually getting a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" message when you log in. The exact procedure for doing this depends on your operating system and browser. If you continue to get see this message, it could indicate a problem with the Hotmail server. Check the status of the network on a site like Down Right Now that reports server problems on popular sites. Submit a support request on the Windows Live page. On the Windows Live site, select "Hotmail" under "Standard Services." A search screen will open that will allow you to check out a variety of Hotmail related support topics. At the bottom of that screen, choose "get more help" and then "support." A support form will open for you to complete and submit to the Hotmail team. You will receive an answer within 24 hours. Note that you will need a second email account that you can access so that the Hotmail support staff can send you your answer. also you might try this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows/outlook/account-temporarily-blocked

Hotmail not receiving. Enable IMAP How?

Windows Live Mail is the desktop email application of Office Live, introduced with Windows 7. Windows Live Mail replaces Outlook Express in Windows XP and Windows Mail in Windows Vista. You can use Windows Live Mail to access most free email accounts, such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, as well as those offered by Internet service providers. You can also set up your IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) account to use Windows Live Mail.

Open the Office Live email application. Click "Start," select "Programs" or "All Programs" and select "Windows Live Mail" from the "Windows Live Folder." Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Accounts" to open the "Accounts" dialog box. If you do not see thetoolbar, press the "Alt" key to display it. Click the "Add" button, select "Email Account" and click "Next." Type in the complete IMAP email address, such as "name@emailprovider.com" into the "Email Address." Enter the password for that account in the "Password" box. Enter the name you want displayed to email recipients in the "Display Name" box. Select the "Manually Configure Server Settings for Email" check box and click "Next." Select "IMAP" in the "My Incoming Mail Server Is" list. Enter "imap.ispname.com" into the "Incoming Server" box, replacing "ispname" with the name of your email provider. Type "smtp.ispname.com" into the "Outgoing Server" box, replacing "ispname" with the name of your email provider. Click "Next" and then click "Finish." Hope this helps.

My computer speed on the net is extrordinarily slow. checked resource manager and it says 94% memory is being used of 1 GB and all I have open is two web pages. Is there something I can do to reduce memory...

Get the resource manager running and find out what is gobbling up the menory. Find the processes that are high use and stop them one at a time until you see the useage drop.

I had something (whose name has escaped me) that ran itself ever time I booted up. Every time I did this, I would stop that process, and that solved the trouble. I eventually found the source and killed it!

Good luck on finding this evil process ... Please let me know what your specific issue was so I can make note of it.

Yahoo email account

Try using the original non-beta account. The older account profiles seem to work better, and there is some lag (server slowness) in Yahoo in general, if something is just not working, either click on the link once more or refresh the page.

Hope that helps!
