Question about Sansui HDLCDVD260 26 in. LCD Television

Open Question

PC input doesn't want to work

I have a Sansui HDLCDVD260, 26in television and everything works except the PC part. I have adjusted my refresh rate to 60hz as the instructions said but when I plug in the svga cable all I get is a blank screen. If I unplug it I get a No signal box but when I plug it back in box goes away. I have an Nvidia 7800 Graphics card for my computer, and I do not have a multi media computer.

Need to change input signal to 1440x900@60hz

go to control panel and then display settings and adjust the resolution and refresh rate that way. if you don't have the option and your video drivers are up to date then your video card doesn't support a resolution that high.

All across the screen a lot of black colored dashes are appearing. everything is fine but these dashes doesn't look good

Try selecting Auto Adjust from the monitor's on screen display. Should be accessible from the buttons on the front of the monitor.

Also try downloading and using the latest drivers for the monitor.

Also try checking the monitor's technical specifications and making sure that the refresh rate on the computer is set to the optimal refresh rate per the monitor's manufacturer.

How do i connect my pc to my LG 32LF77SO I CAN GET SOUND AND VISION

Most HDTVs today have a 15-pin VGA input so to hookup a PC, just connect a VGA monitor cable from the PC monitor output to the HDTV VGA input port. This gives you video. For audio, you can connect a stereo audio cable (3.5mm) from the PC soundcard speaker jack (usually green) to the HDTVs audio input port next to the VGA port. Next you need to adjust the settings for video resolution and refresh rate on the PC so that the HDTV is compatible. Look in the HDTVs owner's manual for a chart showing the acceptable video screen resolutions (1024 X 768) and refresh rates and adjust the PC accordingly. You should now have video and audio on the TV. For a laptop, it depends on what outputs it has, VGA, HDMI or S-Video but this can be done as well.
