Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management> You can try to format it with fat files system or the file system you are accustomed with if there is nothing important on it.
I've had this problem a few times with my craig mp3/mp4 player, and I found if you let the battery run all the way thru, then turn it off, plug it back into your computer, and turn it back on.....it will load to the "connect" screen.
