Troubles steering We have a very difficult time steering this stroller. If it hadn't been a gift (without reciept) I would have returned it. When I try to turn the stroller the back wheels just slide. My Mother can't even push it at all. Any ideas how to make this stroller work better would be much appreciated. Tried taking the wheels off to see if I had them on wrong but that wasn't the case.

there are brakes on the back wheels, that usually are 'released' by placing your toe under the latch usually between the tires, or above them

no,u cant return your item/product....whether it is a gift,but the seller doesn't accept without receipt...so better to make availaible of dat

Do you who gave it to you?
ask for the recipt and return it for exchange or refund.

It's brand new, it's supposed to work well when new. It has some kind of warrenty.
Why on earth would you consider spending money to repair it?

it depends on how badly it was bent but i would give it a go anyway just try to make sure no sharp
edges are left and that the seat unit still goes up and down smoothly also that it does not bend when
there is weight on the seat.

No there isn't for this buggy.

My experience with tandem strollers is that they are difficult to manoeuvre in cities (over kerbs, grass, gravel, etc.) and hard to turn. I also found that the infant car seat into the stroller trick is short lived, and you'll need the stroller for a long time after you need that.
My recommendation would be to buy a good side by side double with larger jogging type wheels instead. Tike Tech makes a great one that folds easily and is a lot easier to push.

Maybe you could politely request the buyer of this gift if they have the receipt. Tell them that you appreciate the great gift, but it is faulty and you would need to know where they purchased/obtain a receipt so you can exchange it. Just don't tell them you plan to get a different model altogether! ;) If that doesn;t work out, I suppose the only other option is to contact Evenflo support at 1-800-233-5921. :)

The steering and suspension systems of the car are fairly robust and generally not too much goes wrong with them. With the advent of rack and pinion steering and the use of MacPherson strut suspension tech, a lot of moving parts have been eliminated. Things still can go wrong and cause a vehicle to become hard to control. When something is wrong the very least that will happen is your tires will wear out very quickly and at most, lead to an accident. In your case... You'll notice it takes much more strength to turn the steering wheel. This is especially noticed when you are trying to park. The problem seems to be getting worse. Possible causes: 1.Low tire pressure: Check and adjust tire pressures. 2.The steering gear needs to be lubricated: Lubricate steering gear parts as required. 3.The wheels are out of alignment: Have the wheels aligned. 4.A part of the steering linkage is damaged and doesn't not move freely: Replace steering gear parts as required. 5.Your steering box needs to be adjusted: Adjust steering box as required. 6.You have a problem with the power steering pump: Repair or replace power steering pump as required.
