Problem for GE PSS26SHRSS Side by Side Refrigerator

I have a GSS22KGMC WW side-by-side GE refridgerator that is not cold anymore. The compressor seems to be running, but the freezer side is completley melted, and the refridgerator side seems to be warming up. The temperature gauge is now set to 9, which is the coldest it will go.

i have a ge side by side the refridgfrator side doesnt get cold enough its turned all the way up to 9. could the temp, control have gone bad? thank you very much Larry
