If it is an RF adapter, you need to be on channel 3 or 4 or something like that...that's why the cable input is there.

you can order VGA cables if you need them, the Gamecube and 64 share them.

Vcr/dvd player and nintendo 64

you N64 should have the cable with yellow/red/white connections(RCA) Those should plug into the VCR ports that say Input. Then run that to your TV through the screw on Coax cable.

How to connect nintendo 64 on a dish network tv

Can I connect my Nintendo to my Cable Box, my DVD, or my VCP (video cassette player)?
Your Nintendo system requires AV inputs to work. These products do not provide inputs. Connecting to them is not possible. Unless you get a blue plug for it to work then with the connection then.

Hiow do I connect the Nintendo cables to tv. Where do they go?

You take the cables that have the red white and yellow plugs and you can usually find red, white, and yellow plugs on the back or side of your tv that you can plug into. After that you just need to turn it to input and it should come on.

I dont know how to set it up

- First you need a rather old TV, like maybe before 2002, if you have one. Because on newer TVs N64 graphics are terrible !

- Once you have your TV, check to see if you have two cables with your 64 (if you don't something is missing !). One shaped like a little box on one end and an electrical plug on the other : you hook up the little box to your N64 and plug the device in the nearest power socket. The other cable has a a strange black and rectangular input that hook up in your N64 and 3 sockets that are red, yellow and white. Connect the latter on your TV by finding the same sockets with the same colours !

- Connect your controller to the console (it's the round-ish sockets in front of it)

- insert your game

- THEN turn on your console. Don't turn it on unless everything hooked up !

(if it doesn't work you may want to try the famous turn-off-the-console-blow-into-the-cartridge-put-it-back-and-try-turning-your-N64-again trick !)

Good luck ! :)

Can't not get our Nintendo 64 to work on our new Bravia TV

The Nintendo 64 sends out a signal that can only be properly decoded by old CRT TV's

Those Bravia TV's are the God's TV's even if they did work on it I wouldn't recommend it because it would most definitely eventually ruin the life span of your TV.

But to answer your Question the Cables should be plugged into AV1 which is the Red White and Yellow Connections

My nintendo 64 wont come on, ON the tv.

You need a switch (transformer) to connect it to the incoming signal antenna screws. You will probably need to adapt it to a cable tv plug. The wires you connected are for the sound.
