I found many links for XP and windows vista supported drivers.. But windows 7 i din't get.. If any one of you know the link to windows 7 motherboard drivers for this model, pls send it to me..
Windows 7 can be told to use the Vista drivers for most things.....did you try that ?
[ Note : This method should only be used whenever you have a "setup file" or .exe extension to run to install the drivers.]
Leave the device unplugged while doing this (Unless the drivers are stored on the device, for instance a Mobile Phone)
If you have already installed the Incorrect Drivers, then do a System Restore, or Restore a System Image, to a point before you installed the drivers, otherwise this might not work.
1. Right-click the Setup File and choose -Properties-.
2. Next, click on the -Compatibility- tab.
3. Then, check the box marked "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select -Windows Vista- from the drop-down list.
4. Next, check the box "Run as Administrator", then press the [OK] button.
5. Run the setup file as normal, and should allow the installation of the Vista driver files.

Per the HP website, the chipset in your board is the Intel G31. Intel's website HAS G31 drivers for win7 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchRe... You can try those. Tallon41

I tried it.. Its not working.. This is what it resays back.. The system does not meet the requirement..
and you're definately NOT using a 64-bit driver by mistake ?
no i checked that too.. everything is 32 bit..
No i'm not 32bit OS and 32 bit drivers..
Not True, every Win7 64-bit OS is listed there....it is Alpha, so they will appear at the bottom of the list. I see only GPU drivers though...so you may not get your "wish" in Installing a 64-bit Win 7 OS on that old PC. Tallon41
