What size screw driver or Hex Key do you need to re-attach the needle clamp on a designer Diamond Viking sewing machine?

The answer is the tool that fits. You buy a set like this and you have a set that can undo all small screw fittings. They have normal screw slot, Philips, Posi drive, Hex, Torx the lot. I use mine a lot!

I am going round in circles 'anonymous'. I'll say at the outset ALL Babylock manuals can be found online. I can find Ellageo BLL, but not 3. I can Find Ellegante 3.

My baby lock ellageo will not read the pes files I create in embrilliance but will read the dst files I create. HELP!

In the embrilliance software check the hoops size. Dst files do not save hoop size in the DST parameters but pes files do. If the hoop is not one that the Ellageo supports it will not read the pes..

Hope this solves it.

HHow is the timing set on an ELNA Club 4D Overlocker

You can look on youtube.com and see how to set the timing on overlockers (they are all pretty similar). I would be leery of trying it myself and I have pro timing tools. This may be a time to get shop to do it instead of trying it yourself if you have no experience. But, on the other hand, why do you think the timing is off anyway? What is the machine doing? Tell me, and maybe we can figure it out without going drastic. Like, the right size needles etc.

Totally confused by my machines and these cards!!!! Please please please help

In the software you have to go to "Options" and adjust the "Design Page Property". If it is set to a size larger than what your machine is capable of stitching, the machine will not be able to read the card.

That setting has little to do with the size of the embroidery you are saving, it is more to do with telling the machine how big a hoop the design will be using.

That's why one machine reads the card but not the other machine (hoop size capability).

Hexagon wrench replacement

Allen wrenches, AKA hex keys, can be obtained singly or in sets in just about any hardware store or general merchandise store with tools. I prefer the sets that come in sort of a big jacknife folding set, like this: http://www.mickysharpzusa.com/images/parts/large/402.jpg as all the wrenches get lost together, instead of one at a time like this style tends to: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/30PC-Combo-Hex-Key-Allen-Wrench-Set-SAE-MM-LONG-SHORT-ARM-NEW-/00/s/NDg4WDY1MA==/$T2eC16ZHJGQE9noMbZN2BQ-lv1U+3g~~60_3.JPG I do not know if you'll need wrenches with metric measurements (mm) or English/Inch/SAE, which will be sized in fractions of an inch, like 3/32. Call Singer and ask the size you need: http://singerco.com I will guess metric, but I won't swear to it.

Baby Lock Ellageo will not work. Says to "Lower the presser foot" but it is lowered.

did you have this problem before the tune up or after?
it sounds like part of the computer is malfunctioning

Presser foot lever fell off

You'll need a 2.5 mm hex key metric (you can buy a complete set in Radio Shack for about $10 if you don't have metric). AND you will need to cut down the shorter end of that key about half way (total remaining end will be around 8 mm), as there isn't room for the whole key in that tiny space.

Open the light bulb door, it should be easy to see where it goes but you may need two pairs of hands.

If you take it into a Bernina dealer, they should do it for free as it takes like one minute! Hey...you can ask for nothing! Those guys have all the right tools but there's no mystery, so don't listen to any nonsense.
