I have a VR 268 and when I am pressing all the buttons, nothing happens, what can i do?

I have the same problem.

I have the same problem and when I put the batteries in they got very warm, I am unable to do anything with the unit, note there is a solid red light on the unit.

A:Please, check the following:
1. Batteries are fresh
2. Batteries installed correctly in right polarity
3. Make sure that LOCK slide switch in the unlock position

Button or buttons?! If single press and after pressing nothing appears on the screen (as short msg -date) so mico-button is dead! __ by kierus
