Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
Every so often with the speakers plugged into the PcI hear a thunder like crash
I had the same problem too, and it was driving me crazy! Finally, I figured out it was my weather desktop notification thing...If you have one of those try fixing the settings so it doesnt make any sounds...hope it works for you!

That is normal, but you better put the volume to minimum to avoid damage to the speaker and to your ear.
When you plug it in, the connectors are receiving sudden voltage increase, this is what you hear as thunder.
