SOURCE: Toro Lawn Mower Electric Start Won't Engage

you'll need to pull the starter. It sound like your Bendick's is bad. that's the upper gear drive assay. the only other res ion would be, low power to the starter, and not receiving an acquit amount of amp to reach the rpm's it needs. good luck

Lawn mower batter charger blows circuit breaker

I'd try plugging it into another outlet first, then try turning off any other appliances that might be on that same circuit. If it continues to trip the breaker, I'd take it to the small engine shop.
hope this helps

Toro Electric Start Problem

Remove spark plug and observe condition. Fouled with oil, bad motor. With plug removed pull rope several times to blow out cylinder. Spray WD40 in spark plug hole, pull rope several times see if oil blows out. Spray a lot of starter fluid in spark plug hole, replace plug. Spray starter fluid in air cleaner area of carb, try to start. Replace spark plug, try to start. Ensure oil is full, all mowers have a low oil sensor now. 30w oil. Always use Stabile in gas.

Toro mower dies when i try to pull out

Disassemble carburetor and spray with carb. cleaner. Use a Den Tek Brush,
(http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152), to clean the small portals in carb. Make sure that the small screen is free of debris. Reassemble and start.
If this doesn't work, then you will need to buy a carb. kit and replace all the appropriate parts.
