if you reboot you lose no information , use the volume button to click down to reboot the press the power button .

When was the last time the tablet was turned off (not just put into sleep mode)?
To turn off the tablet, hold the power button for two or three seconds, then tap "shut down" when asked if you want to shut down your Kindle.
After the device has completely turned off, press the power button to restart.

Hold the power and volume up buttons for a hard reset. You should not lose any information this way, just over rides the frozen system and should restart it.

Tablet should have a "reset" button on top or side. Small hole. You need an object that would fit--it will take it back to factory specs. Make sure tablet is fully charged--or plugged in first. Worked for me.

I need more information. However I recommend double clicking the home button and swipe up to close all apps running in background. Then Shut Down iPad and restart it.

99% of the time this will fix any issues regarding apps not working properly.
