I hooked wii up but I cant hear the sound. Help?

Using HDMI? The HDMI SETUP will tell the HDMI to receive the digital audio if the HDMI source (WII) is also setup to send the audio through the HDMI cable, so you need to check the HDMI sound setup at the TV and at the Wii.
Or you can use analog audio RCA jacks, but you still need to set up the TV and the Wii to send audio through analog ports.

Please leave rating if it helps.

Just bought my wii. have it all setup, howeve i cant get it on the tv. cant find select on my remote for the tv. can you help me. thanks

Usually there is a button to change the input device. The one on my remote is titled "input". Press that button to cycle through the available input device channels until you find which one your wii is on. (of course having the wii "on" when doing this will help)

Cant read disk

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide
