FIRST, WHY DO YOU WANT TO? Altering the BIOS is like taking a stroll in a minefield, one wrong step and........ That said, Is your computer running OK? Is there some issue you are trying to resolve? If you are asking for a "how to" , I assume you have never done it before. That's not a "pond you want to jump in", without checking how "deep the water is". I would advise you to rethink, and rethink the rethink. Have you looked on the laptop Makers website for a BIOS flash? Only use the laptop manufacturers website for BIOS updates/flash.
There is no specific unlock code that you can use to bypass this password but I would suggest that you first try and clear the password and then call the manufacture if that dose not work and they should be able to help you. I have attached a link to a tutorial on how to bypass this type of password.
I just purchased a used MPC x1000 and encountered the same problem. Here's what I did:
First, turn on PC and press F1 to enter CMOS.
Go to the Security tab. There you will see Supervisor and User Password fields. Change the Supervisor password, then the User fields can be changed. Then, save and exit.
If, when your o/s boots, the screen asks for password or touch fingerprint pad, go for the password option by pressing ctrl/alt/del.
If that won't let you in, there's a bypass tab that you can select. I clicked on that tab and went right into Windows no prob. Then, the TouchPad options menu appeared so I could set up security as I choose.
The new mpc support site is back online at http://www.mpcdrivers.com
Mpc notebooks have a bios password ability. Once that password is set, you cannot log into the pc without it. The only method is to have a repair shop replace the bios chip with a new one.
There is no password utility that will bypass this.
It depends on the computer. Try pressing the F2 key. F8 key. F10 key or Delete Key. Either of those four.Tell if it will work. Thanks.
Remember to press it as soon as you turn on the computer and as soon as it begin the POST process.
On many of the MPC laptops, the bios can be brought up at boot by pressing the F2 key. Generally, while booting, the screen will show you the button to push. Here are some more of the most used key combinations you can also try. On our mpc support site, there is no manual available yet for this model. Also, mpc laptops have the capability to lock out the bios at users request so many used models obtained cannot be changed. We'll have a new support site for mpc up this summer. Most of the time during boot-up the key (combination) will be shown. If it is not, then you could try the following key combinations:
