Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo, then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.
If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.
Hope this helps and if so please vote.
Thanks
Jim

White screen

Have you tried doing a soft reset by holding the home and power buttons until the screen turns off and back on? If no software related action is helping it might be hardware (e.g. screen malfunction) but you wouldn't know that unless you exhausted all software avenues first including doing a software reset which is done by plugging the phone into your computer, opening itunes, clicking on your device on the left hand side and then resetting it, but just a warning you WILL lose all data that's not backed up.

I can't charge iPhone, I got power surge warrning on my computer

hello friend,
maybe your cable of charging is nit genuine,
if warning displays in your phone then there is the problem in cable
and if the error displays in computer then the problem should be in battery or main board

My apple iphone USB Device Not Recognize what will

Go to www.itunes.com and download and install itunes, then reconnect the phone. If you already have itunes do this, but realize this will clear the info from your iphone, but if you have the info in itunes, it will sync back anyway. So just know, this does a factory reset:

Turn iphone off by holding power button on top left and sliding the red bar to shutdown.

Now, take the usb cable and have it not connected to the computer, but connect it to your iphone, so now you have the usb cable just connected to the iphone which is completely off.

Now, hold down the circle button on the iphone, and keep it held down. Then insert the usb cable into the computer, while still holding the button down. After a minute or two, you will get a screen on the iphone with a white usb wire pictured on the screen, and if you did it right, the connection should then pop up on windows. After you do the restore, you can then use itunes and plug in the usb like normal, all should be fine.

good luck!

White screen iphone, not fixed by home+power combo

Sounds like you have a bad LCD or a bad board. Either way if you are under warranty your best bet is going to be to call Apple for repair.
Before talking to apple you could try the following as a hope:
Do a hard reset by holding down home and power buttons together until screen goes black. While holding down home plug the iPhone into your computer. iTunes should now prompt you to perform a restore.
Hope this helps

My iphone is stuck on the screen where the apple is displayed

NOTE: You need to be plugged up to your computer for this to work

1. Hold down the POWER and HOME buttons untils your phone reboots.

2. Hold POWER button until the iPhone powers OFF

3. Hold POWER and HOME buttons, iPhone will now power on.

4. When you see the apple2.gif logo, release the POWER button but keep holding the home button.

5. iTunes should alert you now saying that it has found an iPhone in recovery mode, proceed to recover as normal now.

Also the iPhone screen may go white after doing this until restored, this is normal, it's not broken.

Blank Screen

1. Put your iphone in the dock, with the USB cable disconnected from your computer.

2. Make sure the phone is off (The only way I got the phone to turn off is to hold the power button + the home button for like 15 seconds)

3. Once you know the phone is off, press and hold the HOME button then plug in the USB cable to your computer, keep holding the HOME button the whole time.

4. Next it should put a Yellow Triangle on your iphone and it should say "connect to itunes".

5. Now restore your phone, and you should be GOOD TO GO!

Iphone jailbroke

I had the same problem.  What I did to fix it was to leave it connected to my computer while it had that white text on it and I left it alone for about a day or so.  After leaving it for that amount of time my iphone shut off and then I just disconnected it from my computer and turned it on. It was fine!
