SOURCE: So I found out I need a circuit board for my panasonic sa-ht80.where can i get one from I tried everything. Please help

Guess you already tried ebay and the manufacturer.. But just keep checking because sooner or later it will appear. Today they had the entire receiver.

Did you check out the questionable circuit board for bad caps that are bulging or leaking? Burnt resistors? Diodes? U might get lucky.
U have nothing to lose and all to gain at this juncture.

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Unit does not stay on for more than 5 to 8 seconds. I opened the case and inspected the boards. All capacitors appear normal, there are no visibly burned components, No visible signs of heat. Unit worked...

from your suggestion, i think the problem is come from power supply unit, maybe the transformator was burned or damaged that make no power to the board
the other suggeastion is the power supply componen was damaged
try to check it

I have an audio receiver that powers up and the shuts down. I've replaced the power cord (due to rabbit) and the fuse. But continues to shut down??

Why did you replace the fuse - did it burn out or opened? It's probably shutting down because it's detecting an overload. Inspect the circuit board for any shorts. I recommend having a repair shop isolating the problem. If it does blow fuses, then there is definitely a shorted transistor on the final amplifier output stage. Otherwise, if a fuse is shorted you don't need to replace it because it's suppose to be shorted.

Panasonic SA-HT920 ''F61'' error message

Hello,

from my experience, I think your player is having a power problem. It must have received excess voltage/irregular power supply which has damaged an IC or capacitor on the power board of the player.

Sometimes this excess power supply might damage the player's main board. This is why it is advice able that you use step down for your player, because DVD player don't need excess power as something might be damaged.

To solve this problem, you will be needing a meter. Open the player, use the meter to read the components on the power board as it will help you discover the component that got damaged and you can then replace the bad component.

But if you do not have the knowledge of fixing this problem, you might be needing the help of a service technician.

Take care.
