I can't remember how to make icons and a favorite list as I'm on a brand new computer and trying to pick up all my old accounts that crashed with my old one

to make new folders as in e-mail
click on the inbox heading and then click on new folder
name the folder and it will appear under inbox
you can then click and drag e-mails to that folder
from experience I found that folders in e-mails is not reliable so I use desktop, right click anywhere on desktop screen and make a new folder. name it , the save e-mails to desktop and that folder
that way everytime the computer does a back up, it is saved

How do I save a jpg photo to my computer that has been sent via e-mail and give it a file name? I have a group of jpeg photos that were sent via e-mail, how do I delete the ones I don't want? My...

This depends of the email client you are using. If they are sent as attachments then save those attachments or download them to your hard drive. If they are embedded in the email then you will want to right click on the pictures and choose 'save as'.
Once the pictures are in the desired folder you can right click on the file again and choose 'rename' This will give you the option to name the picture anyway you like.

If you are sure that the Email attachment is from a reliable source and then content is potentially safe you can try to download the images to your computer and save it in a folder.

After you have saved the pictures, open the folder containing those picture files and try to open it with Internet explorer.

If it is not ready to open with Internet explorer then you should not try to open it with any other program. There are chances that either the file is corrupted or it contains a Virus or other harmful stuffs.

How do I email photos from my dell computer?

A simple process to e-mail photos from any computer using windows is fairly simple. Find the folder with the pictures in them. Then select the pictures you would like to send by pressing the "ctrl" key while left clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you would like to send. Once you have selected the pictures then right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select "send to" and then "e-mail recipient" and then right click. This will bring up a page to send the e-mail using your default e-mail program with the pictures attached. You can then add any remarks, comments ect. and choose who you would like to send the pictures to.

How to save the attachments in microsoft outlook automatically.

Outlook -> Tools-> Rules and alerts -> create a rule : -> New rule -> Move messages from someone to a folder -> Under step 2 -> select the recipient from whom you recieve the e-mail -> create a folder -> Next -> Next-> Next -> select "Turn on this rule" and finish. Your rule is created.
It is not possible to save the attachment in the series as you wish until the recipients gives the name of the attachment as a format you need ( Which is not possible as you recieve several msgs from that e-mail address)

E-125 Getting attachments for emails

What can & cannot be downloaded will be determined by your setup in ActiveSynch on the desktop. When connected right click on the Inbox on ActiveSynch main screen & select settings. Check mark the "Include File Attachments". If you are downloading the jpg files uncheck the "Limit Attachment size to" so complete attachments will be downloaded. On the PDA start the inbox, tap on Tools - Options - Storage. You should get the option of saving the attachments on storage card if one is available to save on main memory usage. But this might not be an option if you use a CF wireless ethernet card for connecting & Synching. If it does show up you will have to uncheck this option to save the attachments in main memory. Hope this helps.
