Direct Google Calendar to iPod Touch Calendar sync?

Hello! Is there a way to directly sync Google Calendar to iPod Touch's calendar (or, failing that, the Thunderbird calendar to iPod Touch). I have a PC, not a Mac, and I do not have Outlook.

Thanks, in advance, for any clues you might offer. Happy holidays!

Yes, you can use google sync:

Follow the instructions and your ipod touch calendar will sync with your google calendar. You will need an internet connection on your ipod touch.

I locked myself out of my ipod, how do i get back in?

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I will be glad to assist you.

You will unfortunately have to perform a restore in order to get back into your iPod Touch, which will wipe everything off the iPod and restore it back to factory settings.

The only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages mail and so on.

One more possibility: if you were able to recently sync your iPod with iTunes before you were locked from your passcode -- when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue) back onto your iPod Touch.

• This is the process which will allow you to regain access to your iPod Touch

For information on how to perform a restore for your iPod, simply click this link from Apple Support direct- below:

I hope this helps.

How do I synchronize Outlook calendar with my iPod Touch

<p>The iPod Touch is programmed to keep you entertained with videos, music, games and other applications. The device also keeps you organized by synchronization with Outlook and keeps track of your appointments and events. iTunes acts as the conduit of information between Outlook and iPod Touch to move. Any comments or additional agreements in the calendar data while the device reverts to Outlook and the two are synchronized. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Double-click the iTunes icon to start the program. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Click on "Help" in the top menu bar. From the drop-down menu, click "Check for Updates". Ipod touch turns on but tells me to connecct to itunes

You'll need to find a friend or family member that has a computer to resolve this issue. The iPod touch needs to be restored.
Using the Restore function for your iPod touch is part of standard troubleshooting procedure. Restoring your device will erase all data from your iPod touch, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All iPod touch settings are restored to their factory condition.
Whenever you restore your iPod touch, Apple highly recommends that you perform a sync prior to restoring in order to back up any changes since your last sync. If you have movie rentals on the device, see this document before restoring.
Use the following steps to restore your iPod touch:
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update. Connect your iPod touch to your computer. Select your iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices. Select the Summary tab. Select the Restore option. When prompted to back up your iPod touch's settings before restoring, select the Back Up option. If have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (As long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your iPod touch).
Once the restore process has completed the iPod touch restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up

Sometimes you need to restore the iPod even though you've already deleted the content. Below I have posted a step by step for restoring your iPod touch in iTunes. If you are still unable to sync the iPod after restoring please do let me know :)

It wont go to the main part

I would attempt resetting the iPod if you have not done so already. If that fails then you will need to restore using iTunes. Below I have posted a step by step on both trouble shooting methods. If neither of these resolve your issue please do let me know. :) Cheers

The time and calendar are not accurate on ipod touch

Here are a few things to try:

Check that your timezone settings are correct on the touch:

On 2.1 firmware, it's:
1. Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Time Zone Support
2. Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone

On your pc, also make sure that it has the correct date, time, and time zone.
Finally, there have been problems when you allow your computer to enter hibernation mode with iTunes running. After waking up the pc and syncing, time and date can get messed up.
To avoid this, close iTunes before letting pc go in hibernation mode.
Best of luck!

Calendar

Use google calendar. Go to settings and click export calendars. Extract these files to your ipod, after going to my computer and getting into your ipod, calendars folder.

You will have to update this yourself. I cannot find a script that does it automatically...
