When booting your laptop once you see the Acer logo start tapping ALT + F10 that should boot into the restore partition & let you restore to factory defaults.

WiFi change password

If you can login to the router, then just find the screen for changing the password. Or look it up in the manual.

If you've never logged in, then you can use the default password. Find it here:

If you've forgotten the password (or someone else set it and you don't know it), then you'll need to do a factory reset. Google the model # of your router and "factory reset" to get instructions. WARNING: a factory reset returns all settings to the way they were when the router shipped. If you've been using this router, you will find that you'll need to spend some time rebuilding the router's configuration, then reconnecting all the computers (and other devices) that use it.

How do i reset set my dell laptop to factory settings without an administravive password

The only way is to use the re installation disk that came with the laptop when you bought it. The disk should say something like "Reinstallation" or "Restore". You will loose all content.

Similar to the picture below. May have different wording and color.

If you are not computer literate, I would recommend getting help from someone that has experience.

Trying to get motion flow off my tv and it it asking for a password to restore the factory settings

If you bought the t.v. brand new it should say what the default password is in the users manual. Its usualy 1234 or 0000. If it is used and someone else changed the password, there is a way to reset it using the buttons on the t.v.

I set a password to my laptop and I can't remember what it is, how can I get to use my laptop again??

The quickiest way to reset your password is to run System Recovery (aside paying someone from a local computer store and use a software to reset it). Gateway laptops have a built-in recovery mode on the system wherein you can restore the computer to factory default without using a restore discs. (please note that this will erase everything). The hotkey for the recovery is the ALT+F10 key. After you press the power button, you need to hold ALT key and then simultaneously press the F10 key.. Once the recovery menu has loaded, click Restore to Factory Default Settings.

Good luck

Forgotten password for wireless router. How do I reset? My husband needs to connect his Kindle into our secure wireless network but we cannot find our password nor remember it.

You can reset your router using a button available behind the router.

But this will reset all the settings to factory settings and your security settings will be lost, and you need to reconfigure for security settings.

When I try to use my wireless laptop, the router isn't working. It asks for a password - I don't know mine?

When you installed the router, you provided a password/passphrase for connecting to your wireless network.
Apparently you didn't write this down or someone else set up the router.
If you don't have access to the admin console on the router either, you'll have to do a factory reset of the router to allow you to set it all up all over again.
This time, make a note of your passwords.

#1: Shut down your computer. You must first shut your computer down toinitiate the factory restore.#2: Start up your computer and as the computer logo appears (such as Dell orHP) hit "Ctrl>F11" simultaneously. This may be different fordifferent machines, but the most common keys to hit are"Ctrl>F11." If this does not work, the F8 key has been said towork for certain machines.
#3: Select "Repair My Computer" from the list of menu options thatappear and press "Enter."

#5: Enter the administrator log in and password if it asks you for thisinformation.

Factory default bios passwords of HP pavilion DV2000

You can try these 2 steps:

1. remove the battery from the motherboard and start the system. If doesn't not allow yu to go further then put it back and start the system again.

2. there would be a jumper of 2 pins . Must be placed near the PC light wires(red, green and etc)
