got it working, might've been resetting it, or twiddling the guitar connector lead, or not inserting the controller into the guitar until after starting the guitar hero cd- dunno

You probably need to take it to games stop and get them to fix it.

Drums not working

You may need to sync the drum kit with the console you are using it with, as it may have been sync'd with a store console.
Once you locate the sync button on the drum kit, just google it's location as I am not 100% sure where it is located, press and hold while doing the same with the sync button on the console. That should sync the drumkit to the console and render it ready for use. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I have a nintendo wii wireless guitar and built in remote hero and cannot get in synchronized with guitar hero world tour can anybody help

1) Turn on your console.

2)Then turn on your guitar

3) hold the sync button on the guitar, you should see the lights circling

4) then push the sync button on the console

5) The 2 should be linked now, if not, you can put in a claim here:

http://www.redoctanegames.com/Warranty/I...

They can troubleshoot with you and sent you a new guitar, unless you can just switch out with a new guitar from the store you purchased it, by all means go for it.

But when it comes down to it not working at all, go to that website, they will take care of you and make it work, or replace it with a new one. Happy rockin ^^

Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii won't load

Solution: Wii Console needed to download a software upgrade from the web to run Guitar Hero World Tour. Internet connection in our home is via a Linksys ADSL wireless router. Entered Wii Setup menu (select Wii button on bottom left of screen). Changed Connection 1 from None to Wireless. Wii picked up the SSID broadcast from the router. Did a Test Connection which worked. Wii Console prompted me to 'download Wii System Upgrade from Web?'. Clicked OK. Download took approx 10 mins. On completion of download Guitar Hero World Tour loaded automatically. Note: I have read that the Wii uses wireless protocol 802.11b. Make sure your router has both 802.11g and 802.11b enabled or 802.11b only for the duration of the download. Best of luck.

(GHWT Wii) Unable to play two notes at the same time

The same thing happened to me when i bought GH3. The only solution for me was to return it and get a new one. The manager at game stop said that this is a pretty common problem and a lot of people have returned guitars for the very same reason.

Unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.

We have a rock band set-up for our wii. The guitar will not sync with the system. It appears this is a very common problem. I did turn off the two extra controllers and tried to sync it again, no luck.

reposting this (apologies for those looking for other solutions) as i had the same problem...i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light was lit. so far so good, seems to have worked. this time the green and red buttons, and the strum thingey on the guitar navigated as described in the handbook.
