My LCD panels need to be cleaned. I have a service repair manual and cannot find the panels. Can someone tell me where they are? Thank you.
Hello. the lcds are mounted on frames inside a seaaled optical box They are glued in a position for perfect focus and convergance against a prism even slight force will be likely to alter the focus/convergance and connection is by delicate ribbon cable.you will not be able to clean the inner side, the lcds are too close to the prism. if the problem is staining of pure white areas,dirty lcds will not be the problem, I've tried it! The effect was cured with a new optical box.
