Hello There, :) i've updated my PSP to version

you wont be able to play .iso files(games in the iso folder) because you updated to Sony's official firmware. but in order to play .iso files again you will have to hack you psp and make sure its running cfw(custom firmware).

How to install a game

There are two ways to install games on your Sony PSP (Play Station Portable).

The legit way is to buy original UMDs and insert them in your PSP and game on.

For the not-so-affluent, you can install Custom Firmware (CFW) on your PSP and thendownload games off the internet and copy them to your PSP and play them.
Play ISO / CSO Games on your PSP

-

1. Install Custom Firmware:

- There are scores of tutorials on the net on how to do this. The easier way out would be to go to any console shop, and get your PSP modded with CFW for around Rs. 200 / $5.

- A detailed tutorial on this coming up soon.

2. Download the Game ISO / CSO.

- Next, search for the game you want, and download the ISO / CSO of the game from torrent sites or any warez forums. Most of the times, the ISO / CSO is compressed into a RAR file so you will need to extract it first using WINRAR.

3. Copy the ISO / CSO to your PSP

- Connect the PSP to your computer using the data cable and goto Settings > USB Connection.

- Open your PSP drive in My Computer, and goto the ISO folder. If it isn't there already, create a new folder and rename it to ISO.

- Copy your ISO or CSO files to the ISO folder and disconnect your PSP from the computer.

4. Play the Game on your PSP

- Goto the GAME icon > Memory Stick and select the Game you just copied. Press 'X' and game on. icon_biggrin.gif

Note:
1. You need to have CFW (Custom Firmware) installed in order to use ISO / CSO games on your PSP. The latest version of CFW is 5.00 M33-4.
2. The latest PSP 2004 with TA 088 v3 chips and the PSP 3000 aren't moddable yet.

Error code 80110385 for psp

thank you for trusting us
this problem depends on the psp version for example you are running a game that only runs in the version of 5.50 gen d(full) and your psp version is 5.00 m-33 then thats the time you will see an "error code" like this 80110385. but if you can update it in a higher version you can play the iso/cso files. now for you to fix this you need to purchase an update for your psp.this is just a software for registered update. but you can also do a CFW-custom firmware but i dont know if this is legal. you need a pandora battery, memory card and the software to create a CFW version.but make syre you know how to do a CFW before you proceed. but i suggest that you purchse the software its easier.buy the highest version for you to play all games and its legal for sure.
if theres any problem send us a message.

Use a pandora battery to flash anny firmware you like.

You have updated your custom firmware with the original firmware from Sony.

You'll have to downgrade your firmware to update to the newest custom firmware using the pandora battery or update using the pandora battery to update directly to the newest custom firmware build.

Succes.

Iso/cso won't run to PSP version 4.20

You cannot play .iso or .cso files (or any homebrew games) on your PSP unless you have firmware 1.5 or a custom firmware. Any "off-the-shelf" firmware such as 4.2 will not support these types of files. They will just show up as "Corrupted Data".

You can go through the process of downgrading your firmware from 4.2 to 1.5, then from 1.5 you may upgrade to a custom firmware such as 5.00 m33-4. Doing so would require a good deal of technical know-how and a LOT of patience. If you do not want to risk ruining your PSP, do NOT try this. Research methods of downgrading such as "Pandora's Battery" and other firmware downgraders.

You were able to download games from the PSP website because they are programmed to play on the current firmware. Even if you were to (somehow) properly convert the .iso or .cso files to an EBOOT.PBP file, it would not run unless you have firmware 1.5 or custom.

Games,Update, Version 5.02

The firmware/software 5.02 is official sony firmware, its can't load/play your iso game from your MS.. to load iso, You'll need install custom firmware on your psp, the latest cfw update is 5.00m33-3, You can find it by googling or see at my blog here!. how to create pandora - magic stick.

To change your psp from official firmware you'll need pandora - magic stick (latest update DC7 - 4.01m33)for downgrading and install cfw, because since high kernel released, cfwcan be installing from 1.50 OF fat(old model) psp.. and 3.60 for slimpsp as startingpoint.

When you have 4.01M33 you can update to the latest CFw 5.00M33-3.

Hopefully this help, Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER.

Do it relly works?

The reading of ISO games doesn't depend on your memStick...it really is about the firmware of your PSP, wether it is a Custom Firmware (meaning it has been modded/installed with a hacked firmware) or an Official Firmware by Sony...If your PSP firmware version has a M33 suffix, then it can play most ISO/CSO games...on the other hand, if your PSP DOES NOT have a M33 suffix, then it is an Official Firmware by SONY therefore, it CANNOT play ISO/CSO games and other homebrew apps...
