Bought son one of these . can we access the webcam with out being connected to net (putting this off as long as possible) want him to be familiar with everything first . or can we only access it once we install live messenger . many thanks

Well... in your case you have two possible solutions:
1. Download the driver on the oficial web of the equipment.
2. The webcam maybe it not compatible with the system on your netbook (if the cam connect by usb) or if upgrade the system. Ej. XP to Vista
Your netbook may have a copy of all the drivers, you can find it by browsing to the c:\applications\drivers folder. If this folder is missing then you can download most of them from The Tech Guys website.
If the the machine is a re-badged MSI Wind U90 (it should have this printed on the underside of the netbook). you can also get the drivers, along with the user manual, from the MSI Europe website.
it does not have built in Bluetooth, I took mine back to PC World stood about for 1.5 hours to be told it did not have it. This was December 31st they are still advertising this model as having Bluetooth ! Offered me my money back or bluetooth stick. Wrote to customer services waste of time said Shop manager had to sort out, been going round in circle since.
