Switch view from landscap to portrait

If you're saying the pc image is sideways on the monitor, try holding down 'Alt-gr' key (right of space bar) and pressing the arrow up key.

If on the other hand you have black bars down the left and right of screen, you may achieve full screen by changing the aspect ratio key on the TV remote.
Otherwise you'll need to state which operating system (Windows) you're using, to help you further.

How do i adjust the contrast on my acer aspire 5738z laptop

@tonymclau330

Try the following:

For Windows Vista / 7
1. Press the Fn+Left Arrow Key for brightness down and Fn+Right Arrow Key for brightness up (the Fn key is located at the left side of the space bar)
2. If that won't work, go to Start > type Power Options and click on the Power options icon.

3. Adjust the screen brightness bar below.

Hi There

If you look at the keyboard there are normally second function keys on the f9 f10 and f11 keys if you press the second function key left of the space bar with fn on it and the f9 f10 or f11 key with the sun and an up arrow this might brighten the screen

Luminosity of screen too low

I'm not familiar with that specific laptop, but there is usually a Function key, labeled fn on the lower right by the space bar, and then when you look at the keyboard, some of the keys have small pictures in the same color as the writing on the function key (usually blue) look for the picture that looks like a sun with an up arrow. Most laptops let you adjust the brightness that way. Just keep holding down function and pressing the brightness up key.

Is there a function key I can use to get a full screen of a video or a you tube video.

Press F11 for full screen. N.B: After pressing F11 it will not display title bar & task bar. The best way is just click on the button. shoyo_4.jpg If not it will display in this format without showing title bar and task bar. shoyo_3.jpg

I have an Acer Aspire 7520 and I want to connect it to my TV (Philips 42inchHD) My problem is there is no HMDI port on the laptop and when I connect through VGA nothing happens just a blank screen, please...

Once connected you need to switch screens using your laptop keyboard.

Press and keep press the Fn key, probably to the left of the space bar.

Then look along your number keys, you should see a second icon, same colour as your Fn key, which looks like a screen, press that key also.

This is probably a toggle switch, so you'll have to repeat to switch back to you laptop.

Adjust screen brightness evo N600c

using the blue Fn key(usually on bottom left to side of space bar)..look at Funtion keys on top, under the screen. One of them(F5 or F8) will have a blue sun image or a monitor image to increase or decrease the brightness. press the Fn key first, then the one that increases brightness until it's good .

My print screen button isn't working

On notebooks you have to hold the function key to access the secondary functions of various keys. The function key usualy has the symbol "Fn" and is three spaces to the left of the space bar. Hold that down and then press the "prt sc" button.
