Are you sure that you have Bluetooth as an option? It is not an automatic thing, you have to install it or get it from the manufacturer.

HOW DO I SWITCH ON BLUETOOTH ON A LATITUDE D410 LAPTOP

Bluetooth is an option in the D410. See the manual to check whether your device has bluetooth. If yes, then you can enable bluetooth by pressing the Fn Key + F2. There is a Bluetooth LED indicator light to show when Bluetooth is enabled.

Thinkpad T61 in not use bluetooth

Hi, If you are having issues with your Bluetooth on the T61, you can try to check the Wireless/Bluetooth switch on the computer. then Try Pressing Fn+F5 on the keyboard to show if the Bluetooth is on or not. If it only shows Wireless, that on ly means that you don 't have any bluetooth on the computer.
Thank you for using Fixya.

Seems like your Bluetooth and Wifi settings are disabled from BIOS.
On laptops usually there is a setting in BIOS where you can disable/Enable Wifi+Bluetooth. Shutdown computer Turn on computer and press "F2" to go to BIOS settings Find settings for Wifi+Bluetooth and set it to default.
Save settings and restart computer You will be able to see your Bluetooth and Wifi.
Hope this works

Latitude D600 PC Notebook: i have dell latitude D630 laptop when i turn on...

Hi,

Do you have the drivers and software installed for the bluetooth module - you need to make sure that you have the correct Dell package installed in order for it to be registered.

Have you also checked under the computer device manager - does the bluetooth device show there?

I would also check in the BIOS to ensure that the bluetooth module is showing there and is set to enabled.

Hope this helps

Control panel does not show bluetooth icon. Why?

Run services.msc (which is the service management tool)
You should see a Bluetooth Support Service, set this to start and then have it automatically start with windows as well.

Bluetooth control panel application: bthprops.cpl

Bluetooth listed in my actual control panel.

However you may need to reinstall BT again and check for the properties of it.

Please check the steps and let me know if it works.
