On my laptop Fn displays a certain number icons corresponding to Esc, F1, F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7,F8, F9 with F8 activating and deactivating the Wireless. F10 toggles the overlaid keyboard, F11 allows one to use the overlaid keyboard
There are no icons for F10, F11, and F12.
After the icon for F9, there is one for TAB, another for Space, and a last one.
If you click the last icon you open a second set (second page) where there are other icons that control other features. There is one to turn ON and OFF the BlueTooth Adapter.

SOURCE: Wireless Button Disabled

After one month of trying everything, I finally figured this one out.  First turn off and restart your computer.  Then press F10 to enter the System BIOS Settings.  Select F9 (Setup Defaults) and when it asks Load Default Configuration Now? , Enter YES.  Then, press F10 (Save and Exit) and when it asks Save Configuration Changes And Exit Now, Enter YES.  This should restore the wireless LAN button to its original factory settings.  Once you restart the computer the button will be listed as disabled, but press on the button and it should work again.  I hope this helps someone else out!

SOURCE: can't enable Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card

I had the exact same problem and went through the same steps that he did. It was only when I searched for a physical wireless switch (on the left side of my Dell D630) that the problem was solved. I didn't even know it was there and must have inadvertently knocked into the off position.

repeatedly to enable or disable the Wireless LAN or Bluetooth function
recurrently.

Wireless LAN and Bluetooth:
Wireless LAN LED indicator glows green when Wireless LAN function is
enabled.
Bluetooth LED indicator glows blue when Bluetooth function is enabled.

functions are enabled.
Both LED indicators go out when both functions are disabled.
Note: For flight safety consideration, make sure these two LED indicators
go out when you are in flight.

NO WIRELESS CONNECTION

I am aboutsure about the question, but what i understood is wireless switch location

First close your laptop, then look the front view where the speaker is located, From the left

1.Speakers Left and right speakers deliver stereo audio
output.

2 Power indicator Lights up when the computer is on.

3 Battery indicator Lights up when the battery is being charged
.
4 Bluetooth communication
button/indicator (for
selected models)
Press to enable/disable the Bluetooth
function. Indicates the status of Bluetooth
communication (optional).

5 Wireless communication
button/indicator
Press to enable/disable the wireless function.
Indicates the status of wireless LAN
communication (optional).

6 Line-in jack Accepts audio line-in devices (e.g., audio CD
player, stereo walkman).

7 Mic-in jack Accepts inputs from external microphones.

So your wireless switch is the 5th one from the left. Locate it and turn on the wireless, and try to connet to the router.
Try this, hope it may work,
