Try this out it seems to work for some people, if that does not work try this out:
Switch to Windowed Mode
If you continue to have trouble playing your game in full screen mode, switch to windowed mode. Under the main menu of the game, select Options, and un-check Full Screen mode (or vica verse if you already have windowed mode on, switch to fullscreen)
Thanks and I would appreciate a reply if that got fixed or not.
Good Luck!
I think you are saying that what is displayed on your screen is not aligned and you can't see everything.
Try adjusting your screen resolution. Click Start/Control Panel and
look for Display or Appearance and Personalization to click on. You
might can just Right Click on a blank area on the display screen and
select Properties. Once you get the Display Properties to open select
the Settings or Resolution tab. Adjust the screen Resolution by sliding
the bar over to the right. The higher the resolution, the smaller the
icons, thereby the more will fit on the screen.

Can you give me more details on the problem. Are you wanting to change the resolution to have more on the screen at the one time, because you would do this through system preferences and then displays and change the screen resolution to one that suits.
Your computer will always give you all available options for resolution. If there is no higher resolution available in the settings screen, there is no higer resolution available for you. This is linked to your graphical processing unit inside your PC. This cannot be changed that easily
That sounds like a display/resolution setting problem on your PC. I doubt there is anything actually wrong with the PC or the monitor, since both work with different combinations, so its most likely just a setting.
Some monitors don't display anything when they get a signal/resolution that is not compatible with their displays. I would try changing the display settings on your computer with your old monitor, then switch monitors and see if your newer monitor works.
Here's how to adjust the display resolution: If in XP, right-click on the desktop and go to Properties, and select the tab for display settings and adjust/lower the resolution. If in Vista/Win7 right-click the desktop and select Screen Resolution/Display Settings and adjust it there.
It's fortunately quite easy to adjust the resolution your MacBook Pro sends over to your external display. Try this:
Click the blue Apple icon, at the top-left of your display (while connected to your 23" external monitor).
Click on "System Preferences".
Click on "Displays" in the "Hardware" row.
A display preferences window should now open on each display... one on your laptop, and one on the 23".
In the "Display" tab of this preference window, specifically the one located on your 23" display, should be a list of resolutions available. Scroll down and select the highest resolution, which for a 23" should be 1920x1200.
This should adjust your resolution to the maximum. To make these settings easier to get to in the future, check the box in the display preferences labeled "Show displays in menu bar". You'll see a small icon, meant to look like a display, appear in your menu bar. Going forward, you can click on this to set/change resolution settings without going through all the above steps.
