Enter the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. From there you should find an icon named sims 2 or an abbreviation of that. Then right click on that and click autorun, if nothing happens right click then click open. Then look for a file named SETUP or a file with setup in it.
- my computer
- Sims2
- right click on autorun or open and find the setup file
I'm having the same issue. I tried seeing if my computer would read other disks that are similar type programs. No problems there. The disk is fine, since it seems to open on the other household computers, so it's not a problem of a bad or scratched up disk. I just can't get MY computer to read it. Argh!!!
same problem
