Some laptops require for you to go into the display options in order to change the output video.
That's in the displays advanced options.
If you need further assistance let me know what Operating system you are runnin like WinXP or WinVista ect ect.

Where is the projector connection on vaio fit

1

Insert one end of the VGA cable into your Sony Vaio. This is located on the left side of your computer.
2

Turn off the Infocus projector before connecting the opposite end of the VGA cable into the projector. The VGA input slot is located in the back of the projector.
3

Turn on the projector and allow time for it warm up.
4

Change the video output source on your computer to display through the projector. Press the "Windows" button and then "LCD/CRT" button on your Vaio keyboard to change the display source. On a Sony Vaio, the "LCD/CRT" button is usually "F7."
5

Focus the projector to most effectively display content from your computer. You can manually focus the projector or press the "Auto focus" button on the top of the projector.

How to connect my acer iconia tablet to my epsom data projector via vga cable

If your tablet has a VGA connection which I doubt, you'd just connect the two devices with a VGA Cable. Otherwise you'll need some type of adapter to go between the two devices to make them communicate. Good Luck!!! If you had purchased a normal laptop, you'd have a VGA connection.

I need to connect my vaio(vgn-nr17g) to a projector, but i can't find the drivers for it!!

When I connect a computer to a projector no additional drivers are needed. Just connect the VGA or DVI port to the projector. The projector may be the limiting factor, though, as far as detecting the signal from the VGA cable, and you may have to follow the instructions of the projector to make it work correctly as far as when to power up the computer and what not.

Good luck on this.

Have you pressed Fn+F5? It commands using external monitor/ projector. Try this:
1. Connect to projector with projector in ON position
2. Restart your PC
If it won't work:
1. Restart your PC, press F8 frequently, choose "enable vga mode"

How do I connect to my projector

If your dell is equipped to do this it is on the back side and appears as a video card connector or s-Video out. It is possible that your Dell is not equipped to make this connection, I have found a few that are not.

Vga output on travelmate 2480 dont work

After you plug it into the projector, you need to tell the computer to send the output to the VGA. This is done by pressing a combination of the Fn key and an Fx key, usually the F4 key; it will have a picture of a screen on it in blue. Press it once will direct all output to the VGA port, press it twice will show the picture on the laptop and the VGA port, and pressing it again shows on the laptop only.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

Video projector from a laptop

You can connect the Projector to the VGA Port of the Notebook which is a Blue Port which can be seen at the rear of any desktop computer to which we usually connect the Monitor to.

The VGA Port will have 15 holes on it and should be in Blue colour.

You can locate the VGA Port at the Left side of the Notebook.

Locate the port according to the information available below :

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00726464.pdf

Refer to page number 14 (18 of 32) in the manual.

Once you connect the Projector to this port, hold the FN key and press F4 key once.

This wil get the Display on the Projector connected to the Notebook.

If you just want the display only on the Projector, hold the FN key and press the F4 again.

Now, if you want the display back on the LCD of the Notebook, Press the FN + F4 third time.

Hope this helps..
