I am having to click on each mail to delete it completely from my deleted folder. Surely there is a faster way to do them in groups????
Kernel for Outlook Duplicates software allows its users to search duplicate items, mark them using a flag and removes them in order to reduce the PST file size. The software marks duplicate email items as expired. To know more visit http://www.outlookduplicateemails.net/

Click on emails you want to select due to holding CTRL botton.
SOURCE: need to delete email w/2 large of attachment after clicking send
1. Go the File menu, then choose Work Offline in order to stop Outlook from trying to send all mails:
2. Switch to the Outbox.
3. You now have two options:
a. Move the message: you can drag-and-drop or use the Edit: Move to Folder menu item to move the e-mail to your drafts folder. This will allow you to re-open the offending e-mail and slim it down by removing the large attachments before attempting to resend it.
b. Delete the message: this will immediately remove the message from the Outbox and put it in Deleted Items.
4.
If you receive an error at this point that says the message is being transmitted, close Outlook, wait for Outlook to exit (you may need to use Task Manager and wait for the Outlook.exe process to exit), and then start Outlook again and repeat steps 2-3. In some cases, the item may not be released until Outlook has restarted.
5. Go to the File menu, deselect Work Offline to start sending and receiving mail again.

RESTORING EMAIL
1. After clicking on File --> Import and Export
2. Choose "Import from another program or file" and click NEXT
3. Choose Personal Folder File or PST from the list and click NEXT
4. Browse to the file that you exported and click NEXT
5. It should read the file and find the email that you exported, choose Personal Folder Files and select "All SubFolders" to restore everything
6. Make sure that "Import items into the same folder" is selected and click finish to begin the restore process.

Hi,
With the AOL account you have setup, it will not delete the email until you choose Edit>Purge>Purge Marked Items.
You can chage Outlook Settings so that you only see "undeleted" items by going to View>Current View>Hide Messages Marked for Deletion
You will however, from time to time, Purge the deleted items as advised above otherwise performance may deteriorate.
Hope that helps, Pls rate the solution
