I have a playstation 2 game console and my problem is it will only play music audio cds but won't play ps2 games or dvd's the console stays at reading discs. Bought lens cleaner and this did not help. PLEASE HELP

In this case the optical unit (laser) is malfunctioning. Please check the type of optical and provide a replacement in order to repair the unit.

If you need more info please advice.
