Ratchet and clank - not enough space create internal memory card

Just finished talking to sony 1-800-345-7669. technician said alls I had to do was download some pictures or a cd. well I put in a cd of the eagles and hit the triangle button, clicked yes for import cd, and viola, tools of destruction loaded. it may depend on the cd size, you may have to do more than one but it worked for me. I had a new ps3 out the box yesterday for xmas....

I had the same problem with mine right out of the box. The solution I found was that you need to add some files to your hard drive and eventually it will work. I simply copied 7 cds to the hard drive and it worked. Found that fix on the net. It was driving me crazy. There is a problem with the Game not the system. It needs to see some type of memory change before it will play.

we have got the game working now. we put in another game and had to do a couple of updates using other games. first we put in Resistance and got an update of 2.3 then we tried Tomb Raider Underworld and the PS3 updated to 2.4. I am not sure what my husband means but the updates can only be done by putting in a more recent game he says. Ratchet and Clank then worked fine. Sorry I am not that technical minded so hope you understand my speel
