My daughter received a new Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas today. We are unable to realign the stylus with the touch screen. Have followed the instructions but nothing happens when you touch the indicated marks on the touch screen. Can anyone assist? Thanks.

When you load up the DS without a game card, there is an option that is a system calibration that requires you to touch teh screen in certain points, that will realign the screen. This should help! Hint.. Use the stylus to do this, not your finger! :)
If this does not help, you may need to send your DS in for service. The problem may be something with the hardware where only professionals should be performing maintenance on.
