brand new rock band and wireless guitar wont connect to system.

Seems to me that many people have the same Wii problem and with such pathetic instructions from the company I think everyone should take it back to the point of sale and demand a refund...even if a stupid sticker on the box says not to. They won't listen to individuals, but they will listen to the large retail stores. I would love to find the person that decided it was ok to ship this product with such pathetic instructions. Now, what do I tell my kids besides Rock Band doesn't really care about anything but money. The company is lacking in ethics...rushing a product off to market in this condition. Do I sound upset? Damn straight I'm upset.

I couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light was lit. so far so good, seems to have worked.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Guitar Hero Guitar with Rock Band disc

It depends on which version of Rock band you are playing, Rock band 1 will not work with Guitar Hero guitars at all, but Rock Band 2 on the wii will except them. and for the microphone you have to have a seperate wiimote sync'd up tho count as the controller for the the game to recognize the mic.

Gibson guitar doesnt play on rock band, only vocals come up

Rock Band and Guitar Hero instruments are NOT compatible on the Wii. They are compatible on the 360, the PS3, and the RB drums for PS2. Activision went their own way with the Wii and made life difficult for all of the aspiring musicians on the Wii. Sorry.

Rock Band for Wii, guitar not working, the lights blink. Tried two sets of new batteries.

Rock Band's guitar has been identified as a generally unreliable piece of hardware http://support.ea.com/rockband

EA has guaranteed an exchange for the defect hardware.

Alternatively some people have reported regaining syunchronisation by holding down all the white buttons on the guitar simultaneously to re-establish the connection.

Hope it helped - Dont forget to rate

Connect a guitar hero guitar as a second guitar to rock band

This cant be done for the wii sadly because the guitars can not be switched, so you would have to use 2rock band guitars for rock band and 2Gh controllers for Gh.

Syncing with Rock Band.

From Harmonix spokesperson: "Support for the GHIII guitar peripherals in Rock Band on the Wii was not possible without Activision's permission. Therefore, any questions regarding lack of compatibility with GH III hardware should be directed to Activision."
